Did you know that we can choose how we want to age? This program is designed to show how anyone can stay feeling young and vibrant. The gentle techniques target poor posture, chronic pain, back & joint issues, hip & knee replacements, loss of energy & mobility and prevent muscle atrophy. Growing Young is suitable for everyone, no matter their age. Exercises include mostly chair based and some standing.

Join us for a fun introductory session that includes a series of chair exercises to improve core strength and balance, winding down with yoga stretches for flexibility, and relaxation to soothe the body and calm the mind! This class is great for those with lesser mobility, arthritis or fibromyalgia!

Meditation

Wednesdays, September 20th – October 11th (4 classes)

6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m .

An introduction to the different types and techniques of meditation. Discover the many health benefits as well as how to relieve stress, slow the aging process, develop your inner self and improve your wellbeing.

These sessions will address many questions, queries, blocks people often have about meditation and will help you to establish a personal practice even for those with the busiest of schedules. *All sessions will include a guided practice.*

Understanding the energy system of the body.

Friday, November 17th – Chakras Continued

How we can use the Chakras for healing, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Friday, December 1st – Understanding Mindfulness

Introduction to the works of Jon- Kabat-Zin and mindfulness stress reduction.
