Join centre staff at Assiniboine park on the following Wednesdays for a picnic lunch and a planned activity, WEATHER PERMITTING.
You will need to bring a bag lunch, lawn chair, walking shoes & bottle of water. Other suggested items to bring are bug spray, a hat & sunscreen. The centre will be closed at noon on the dates below because the centre staff will be joining these activities. Weather permitting.

NOTE: These are free events. However, you MUST register for each date you are interested in as some have limited space depending on the activity.

LOCATION: Various locations at Assiniboine Park. We will meet at the designated location, do our activity then find a spot for us to enjoy our lunches together.

DATES & PLANNED ACTIVITY:
July 10th – On this day we will meet at the Duck Pond in front of the Park Café where we will meet our instructor (Tiffany) for a Movement & Mediation class then there will be an option to go for a walk before we find a location to have our lunch together.

July 24th – Find us at the Duck Pond in front of the Park Café for a walking mini–Murder Mystery hunt for clues that will lead you to the murderer.

August 7th – Time for a Yoga class with Mary Lou. We will all meet up in front of the Park Café by the duck pond then find a nice spot to take Mary Lou’s Yoga class. Afterwards we will enjoy our lunch together.

August 21st – On this day we will meet at the Duck Pond in front of the Park Café where we will start a Walking Scavenger hunt.
There is minimum space available for some activities. Please register in advance for these free afternoons so you don’t miss out.
