Stroll along the beach, take in the lake views, or browse unique spots like HP Tergesen & Sons and other charming local stores.

Trip Details:
- Meet at 10:15 AM at Westwood Community Church- 401 Westwood Dr.
- Free parking is available at the far back of the lot, away from the main entrance.
- Bus departs promptly at 10:30 AM- no exceptions
- Enjoy comfortable, air-conditioned travel to and from Lakeview Gimli Resort
- Return bus leaves Lakeview Resort in Gimli at 3:00 PM, arriving back by approximately 4:30 PM

Centre staff will accompany the trip, and you’ll receive a contact number upon arrival at Lakeview Resort Gimli.

Come along for a relaxing and enjoyable day by the lake!
This fee is solely to cover the cost of the bus. All other expenses, such as food and beverages, are extra.

Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and great company with our Outings with Centre staff! Join us on select Wednesdays for a planned activity
followed by a relaxing lunch together in the park. Each outing offers a chance to stay active, connect with others, and make the most of the summer
season. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch, lawn chair, comfortable walking shoes, and a water bottle. You may also wish to bring bug spray, a hat,
and sunscreen to stay comfortable throughout the day. Please note that the Centre will be closed on these dates, as staff will be attending the outings.
Activities are weather permitting.

dessert—it’s a chance to connect, play, and make memories with family and friends of all ages. Create your perfect treat at our DIY sundae bar, where you can customize your ice cream
just the way you like it. Not a sundae fan? No problem! You can also build your own ice cream sandwiches using our delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Along with the tasty fun, enjoy lighthearted games, great music, and sweet treats. It’s the perfect outing to share with the grandkids or simply enjoy a cheerful afternoon together.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of our always-popular SCHNITZELFEST on Thursday, June 18! This much-loved evening has become a favourite for good reason — great food, lively music, and even better company.
Join us from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 4:30 p.m., dinner served at 5:15 p.m.) at the Royal Canadian Legion No. 4, 1755 Portage Avenue, for a delicious German-inspired meal and live entertainment from the Woodhaven Menshed Band, sure to have toes tapping and spirits high.

Our regular hearty, traditional German menu featuring:
• Schnitzel
• Warm potato salad
• Pretzels
• Sweet & hot red cabbage
• Dessert
• Coffee & tea
A full, cash only bar will be available throughout the evening.

Let’s take a walk together to Sargent Sundae to enjoy a treat. Come up to the Centre at 3 – 203 Duffield St. and we will walk together to Sargent Sundae. Enjoy a sweet treat in their courtyard next to the building. We will walk back to the Centre from there or feel free to wander over to the park!

Ready for a fun day out with great food, good company, and a little fresh air? Join us as we hit the road for a relaxed spring outing that’s equal parts social and refreshing.

We’ll start the day with lunch at Original Joe’s on Portage Avenue — a favourite local spot known for its welcoming atmosphere, classic comfort food, and something tasty for everyone on the menu. After lunch, we’ll head to Shelmerdine Garden Centre, a beautiful, family-run Winnipeg destination filled with colourful plants, inspiring displays, unique giftware, and plenty of space to stroll, browse, and enjoy the season.

Please note: You are responsible for purchasing your own lunch at the restaurant and for transporting any garden centre purchases home.

This outing is a great chance to enjoy a change of scenery, connect with friends, and soak up a little springtime inspiration. Seats are limited — don’t miss the bus!
